It also reminds the customer what they ordered and offers an altruistic reason to write a review: \u201c\u2026help other pet parents just like you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If the recipient follows the link, Chewy makes it extremely easy to write a review. After clicking the link, you\u2019re taken directly to the page where you can write a review:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-671 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ipassas.com\/repathsolutions\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Write-a-Review-Chewy-800x470-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"470\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Note that there\u2019s also a prompt to leave feedback for the customer service team\u2026which brings us to a closely related goal:<\/p>\n<h3>Goal: Convince customers to fill out your feedback survey<\/h3>\n<p>The same techniques used when collecting reviews can be used when requesting responses to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoho.com\/survey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a customer feedback survey<\/a>. By collecting first-person responses about your customers\u2019 experience, you can improve your product and processes. If the last email they get from you is confirmation of their order, you\u2019re missing an opportunity for engagement. For example, you could send a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoho.com\/marketinghub\/marketing-journeys\/purchase-order-followup.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">simple post-purchase thank you email<\/a>\u00a0as a start, and time it to go out after the customer receives their item.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to go above and beyond, you can automate a series of post-purchase emails that educates the customer on how they can get the most from your product. But what do you do if you aren\u2019t seeing a stellar open, click, or conversion rate? That\u2019s where\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoho.com\/marketinghub\/marketing-journeys\/ab-testing-for-newsletters.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A\/B testing<\/a>\u00a0comes in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The idea behind A\/B testing is that you send two different versions of an email to a small subsection of your list.<\/strong>\u00a0Then, the email that performs the best is sent to the rest of the list. And there are a few things to keep in mind with test sizes. For example, when testing open rates, you\u2019ll ideally want to send each variant of the campaign to 200+ people.<\/p>\n<p>However, if you\u2019re testing with the goal of increasing clickthrough rates, you\u2019ll need a much bigger list. In that case, the sample size isn\u2019t your entire email list\u2013it\u2019s only the people who open the email. That means you\u2019ll need a much larger email list to run a test where you can reach statistical validity.
