Font Matching Tool
Your brand font has no Greek, or no fallback that looks right? Upload it and the tool fits Roboto Flex to it: weight, width, heights, slant and strokes. Fine-tune if you like, then copy the CSS and use the match as a fallback.

DonateHow to use
- Upload your font as .ttf, .otf, .woff or .woff2.
- The tool measures your font and sets Roboto Flex to match it. The overlay shows your font in black and the match in blue.
- Move any slider to adjust the match by hand, or press Match again after changes.
- Check the live preview, where Greek characters fall back to the tuned Roboto Flex, and adjust spacing and size.
- Copy or download the CSS settings and add the Roboto Flex import to your site.
Questions
- How does the matching work?
- The tool measures your font's cap height, x-height, ascenders, descenders and slant, then draws its letters next to Roboto Flex's and searches Roboto Flex's axes until the two cover the same shapes. It takes about a second.
- Why Roboto Flex?
- It is a free variable font from Google with thirteen axes, including width, weight, x-height, ascenders, stems and counters, so it can imitate most sans-serifs closely.
- Is my font uploaded to a server?
- No. The file is read in your browser and never leaves your computer.
- Does it work with serif or monospace fonts?
- It is built for sans-serifs. Serif and monospace fonts get the nearest match for weight, width and heights, but the shapes will differ, and the tool tells you so.
